Parents we need you!
St Francis Youth Football Club was the first club in Hampshire (including adult clubs) to receive and continues to hold the Development status charter award. This is a major achievement given that the parent managers are all volunteers and manage the club in their own time.
The fact that the club is managed by parents of our "footballing kids" is one of our strengths that helps to develop our "community" attitude and ethos. But it also a weakness in that we are reliant on having willing and enthusiastic parents to take teams forward from the age of 5 through to 17. This is a commitment which is demanding and difficult to balance with daily life but also extremely rewarding.
We are constantly looking for parents of our existing members or new parents coming in to help out with tasks in the club, ranging from Club Committee duties, Team Managers, Coaches and Assistant Coaches, League Secretaries through to people that will help out with running team pages on this website.
The club will provide and pay for training where required, so if you are interested in helping in any capacity, please get in touch using the website contact form.
